Valve regrinding machine with linear guideways.
DESCRIPTION
Pneumatic precision clamping system for spherical parts allows grinding valve stems of different diameters without replacing any parts, without flanges and wrenches. 2 x 3 chuck for clamping of spherical parts is used to produce valves with improved specifications (sealing properties). It is characterised by improved heat elimination and reduced mechanical valve load.
Reinforced steel precision linear guideways on ball bearings allow the operator to move grinding wheel head slide bars easily and without effort, providing quality of valve seat final machining, as a result of which higher sealing and heat elimination properties are achieved. Friction and fast wear specific to dovetail guideways are excluded in this case. One finger motion is enough for grinding wheel head shuttling along the valve seat.
CAPABILITIES
- New standards. VR7 machine establishes new CH repair speed and machining standards. Pneumatic precision clamping system with a 2 x 3 precision chuck for clamping of spherical parts operates without flanges. Valve working surface machining is performed concentrically, which provides for higher sealing properties, improved heat elimination and reduced mechanical valve load.
- Grinding stones. Standard VR7 machine equipment comprises ceramic grinding stones, grinding fluid and two diamond tools for stone dressing. Special grinding stones for high-strength metals and alloys, such as titanium, inconel etc. are supplied as an option.
- Valve rotation speed selection. This function allows the operator to set up surface machining speed depending on the wide-range valve diameter, from small valves to valves of powerful diesel engines.
- Control panel. It allows to set up clamping chuck speed and to select the grinding mode or the grinding stone dressing mode.
- Massive cast iron stand. This stand damps harmonic oscillations and vibration as well as guarantees long service life of the machine.
- Grinding fluid. A large tank and filtration system are integrated into an optional storage cabinet.
- Precision feed control lever and depth stop. These elements allow valve machining to the same depth. This requirement is relevant to all modern computer-controlled engines.
- Facing surface/stem folding. A special stop lever presses the valve during rotation, which allows for uniform valve facing folding. When not used, the stop lever is moved away.
- Facing surface/stem grinding. Valve stem facing is ground according to the valve axis. V-type stay allows to grind all CH valves at the same distance from the valve seat to the stem facing. This is important for cylinder heads with overhead camshaft. Precise amount of material removed from the stem facing can be measured using a micro adjustment system.
- Valve beam device. This allows to regrind the beams of most stem types.
- Diamond dressing tools. These tools are installed on the machine and are ready for main and front stone dressing with minimum metal loss. Simply place the tool into a required position and the diamond will take the same spot it was on during the last dressing.
- Moving handle. This allows to shuttle the valve above the grinding stone.
- Main storage cabinet. This equipment is supplied as an option. It comprises a removable tank with a 5 gallon (20 l) replaceable grinding fluid filter. Grinding fluid tank is fitted with a plugged drain to provide fast bleeding for tank cleaning. This grinding fluid storage system with a filter ensures tank operation without interruption for cleaning and maintenance while it saves you time and money.
